Primary School (Grades 1–4)

First steps toward a love of learning

In the primary school at STEAM School Almaty, we create an environment where learning means curiosity and discovery:

Core focus on reading, mathematics, science, and languages.
Lessons are conducted in a playful, exploratory format.
A special place for English (Science, Math, Academic English), as well as chess, robotics, dance, and art studio.
We develop communication, teamwork, and independent problem-solving.

Grades 5–9

IB (International Baccalaureate) — a new step for our school

Candidate school status and gradual implementation of international standards

Important news for the STEAM School-Lyceum community

STEAM School-Lyceum has obtained IB candidate school status.
This means moving toward an international level and joining the global IB community.

Implementation in Grades 5 and 9

This academic year we begin implementing IB in Grades 5 and 9.
Transition to international standards while preserving the STEAM philosophy: project-based learning, trilingualism, and connection with nature.
